From Lewis Capldi’s speedy chart take over to Billie Eilish’s album, ‘When we all fall asleep where do we go?’ its safe to say that 2019 was a very big year for music. But what’s in store for 2020? With the first month of 2020 coming to an end there have already been some big releases with Justin bieber’s brand new album, ‘Changes’, Selena Gomez’s single, ‘Rare’, Halsey’s new single, ‘Manic’ and many more. Off to a good start so far but what’s to come. Lauv is expected to release his new album on March 6th after breaking through in 2019, Niall Horan is set to release his new single ‘Heartbreak Weather’ on March 13th and The Weekend will be releasing his new studio album, ‘After Hours’ on March 20.

Sam Smith will be releasing his new album on May 1st after releasing his new single, ‘To die for’ and adopting a dance floor style of music. In April Dua Lipa and The 1975 will also be releasing new albums. Bands such as Green Day, The Pet Shop Boys, The Killers, The xx & Foo Fighters are all back and with new releases in the horizon. It is even rumoured that JLS will be getting back together this year since their split in 2013, (shocked emoji). Some upcoming artists are also worth watching in 2020. These rising stars include Dermot Kennedy, Rhys Lewis, Jessie Reyez, Polo & Pan and Ryland James and many more. 2020 is very promising for the music scene and an exciting year ahead with artists back from the past, brand new artists and the artists we love all releasing new music.
